Quizetto Privacy Policy

In short

Quizetto is a quiz that runs without internet. There are no accounts, no sign-in and no ads. Players, records and settings stay on your device. The app sends only two things: anonymous usage statistics, which you can turn off, and whatever is needed for a purchase.

What stays on your device

• Names, avatars and levels of the players you create
• Records, badges and the statistics for each player
• Which questions have already been played
• Your settings
• Questions you report as faulty

This data does not leave the device. There are two exceptions, and you trigger both yourself: when you share a result or the list of reported questions, the app hands the content to your device's share menu, and you decide where it goes. If you delete the app, you delete this data too.

Anonymous usage statistics

So that we can improve the app, it sends a few anonymous events to the Aptabase service (servers in the EU):

• that the app was opened, and in which language
• that a round started or ended, with the mode, the number of players and the number of questions
• how many questions were played from which topic
• that a blitz was played, with the level
• that the purchase screen was shown or a purchase was completed
• that a question was reported, with the question's ID and the reason selected

The service also transmits technical details: the operating system and its version, the app version and the country, which is derived from the internet address. According to the provider, the internet address is not stored, and there is no identifier that would allow a device or a person to be recognized over a longer period.

Names, avatars, ages, answers, scores and free-form text are never sent.

You can turn the statistics off at any time: Settings, Privacy, "Anonymous usage statistics".

Purchases

Purchases are made through Apple's App Store. Apple processes your payment details under its own terms, and we do not receive them. To handle and restore purchases, we use the RevenueCat service. It receives a random, anonymous identifier for the installation and the information about which products were purchased. A purchased unlock stays in place even without internet.

What the app does not do

• no ads and no ad networks
• no tracking across apps and websites
• no location requests, no access to contacts, photos, microphone or camera
• no accounts and no profiles on servers

Children

Quizetto is aimed at families and groups. The app does not ask children for any information and does not collect any personal data about them. The players' names and avatars stay on the device.

Your rights

Because we do not store any personal data about you, we also cannot match data to a person, hand it over or delete it. We answer questions about privacy at [email protected]. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.

Changes

If anything about the processing changes, we will update this policy. The version published at this address is the one that applies.
